The Board of Change is a non-for-profit enterprise initiated by business people with the goal of integrating sustainability into everyday business practices and economic thinking. It does so through a number of programs and projects, including advocacy. The Organisation operates with the simple intention to shift beliefs and practices in a world that has long embraced the present state of affairs when it comes to our environment. Most importantly, The Board of Change reaches out to those business sectors and creative industries that have long sought a network which encourages sustainable business values.

A membership driven initiative, The Board of Change was founded based on the principle that massive change requires massive action – a new, innovative way of looking at the world and how things should be. Result based and creatively driven, the organization offers an institutional response to businesses and sustainability. In an environment where talk and rhetoric seem to be the norm, the Board of Change has peopled with individuals who bring action and entrepreneurial sensibilities to everything they do.

A leading expert in Vancouver’s event industry, Lonsdale Event Rentals, is dedicated to reduce its carbon footprint by initiating a cultural movement within our company which promotes eco-friendly responsibilities. Committed to develop sustainable business practices, our goal is to lead the rental industry through environmental-friendly initiatives and results by sharing our best practices, success and challenges and help others with their green curriculum.

Recognising the correlation between our environmental – social goals and The Board of Change vision, Lonsdale Event Rentals decided to be an active member and support Board of Change activities. We hope that our combined effort will help to move businesses and society toward a path of sustainability.
